House of Moon Residency / Internship Agreement

We’re so excited to welcome you as a resident at House of Moon over the next three months.

Please read and fill in the following form for our records.

1. Overview

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for participating in the three-month residency/internship at House of Moon (HOM). The purpose of the program is to provide practical experience in yoga teaching, sound healing, and community facilitation, while supporting the daily flow and spirit of the studio.

The residency is a collaborative exchange designed to nurture professional growth, studio presence, and a deeper connection to the House of Moon community.

2. Responsibilities of the Resident / Intern

By joining the residency, you agree to:

  • Teach a minimum of one free weekly class at the studio (yoga, sound healing, or a combination of both).

  • Arrive on time, prepare the space before each class as instructed, and close the studio properly afterward.

  • Care for and respect the studio, instruments, and all equipment.

  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, presence, and respect in all interactions.

  • Represent House of Moon’s values in your classes and communication.

  • Promote House of Moon memberships and encourage students without memberships to join.

  • Support studio events, workshops, and community initiatives when possible.

  • Report any injuries, accidents, or equipment issues immediately to the studio owners Maria and Levin in the WhatsApp group.

  • Uphold studio guidelines, health and safety protocols, and confidentiality regarding members and internal matters.

  • As part of completing your residency, we kindly ask that you share a written Google Review reflecting on your experience—whether about the studio, the residency program, or your time at House of Moon

  • 10% Discount on any continued learning with Maria or attendance on her retreats.

3. Exchange & Benefits

In exchange for your contribution and presence in the program, you receive:

  • 2 hours of free monthly studio usage during off-peak hours:

    • Monday–Friday: 10:00–18:00

    • Saturday: 08:00–22:00

    • Sunday: 08:00–10:00

    • Use code HOMRESIDENT to book a 2 hours slot via the website

  • A 20-minute professional mini photo shoot with the House of Moon photographer.

    • All images remain the property of House of Moon.

    • You are granted full rights to use them for personal and professional promotion (websites, social media, portfolios, etc.).

  • Free access to regular studio classes (subject to space availability).

  • Mentorship and guidance from House of Moon teachers and facilitators.

  • An opportunity to build teaching experience and presence within a professional studio environment.

  • Letter of reference and recommendation will be given by Maria or Levin once the internship is completed and a exit interview held

4. Use of Images & Media

  • Any photos or videos taken by yourself in the studio must credit House of Moon when shared publicly.

  • Media may be used for personal self-promotion, branding, and non-event-related posts.

  • Images and videos captured in the studio cannot be used to promote events, workshops, or classes held outside of House of Moon without written permission.

  • House of Moon may use any captured content for internal and external promotional purposes, including websites, social media, and printed materials.

  • We encourage photos and video from the studio and we will always share relevant content to help build your audience and online presence.

5. Studio Etiquette

  • Treat the space as sacred, shared, and energetic.

  • No food or drink near instruments or sound equipment. No hot food at all in the studio.

  • Return all equipment and props to their designated places after use. With care.

  • Handle all gongs, instruments, and yoga props with care and mindfulness.

  • Do not lend or remove any studio equipment without permission.

6. Attendance & Conduct

  • Commitment to the full three-month term is expected, with potential for occasional swaps and covers when needed.

  • Any missed classes without valid reason may result in early termination of the residency.

  • Consistency, reliability, and integrity are key values of this program.

  • House of Moon reserves the right to end the agreement at any time if expectations of professionalism, respect, or contribution are not met.

7. Liability

  • The resident/intern participates at their own risk.

  • House of Moon is not responsible for personal loss, injury, or damage during residency activities.

  • The resident agrees to comply with all health and safety instructions and to report any hazards, incidents, or injuries immediately.
